On May 15th we – you – raised $135,089 to help secure the future of Anton’s three children. We are humbled by everyone’s generosity. Penny, Anton’s wife, is over the moon for the children. Anton’s mother is “gobsmacked”.
Anton came under fire while covering frontline battles near Brega. Journalists Clare Gillis, James Foley and Manu Brabo were with him. They were imprisoned for 44 days. Anton is survived by his wife and 3 kids.
